Ella graduated as a Wildlife Ecology and Conservation and Insect Ecology and Conservation double major at the University of Delaware in 2025. She joined the Delaney Lab in the fall of 2022. She completed her senior thesis on the prevalence of Apis diseases in local hoverfly populations, an important but overlooked pollinator. She hopes that this project will help expand the knowledge of how these diseases are vectored. In the fall of 2025 she will pursue a PhD at the University of Georgia to study insect vectored disease.
