2025 FUTURE FACULTY WORKSHOP
CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS, ENGINEERING, AND BIOLOGY OF SOFT MATERIALS: DMR-2226708

A two-day workshop will provide mentorship and network building to senior graduate students and postdoctoral researchers aspiring to become independent academic faculty in the U.S. in areas of soft matter, broadly defined, including chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, and related fields. Topics will center on the application process, interviewing, negotiating, crafting research proposals, and running a research group. Lodging, food, and reasonable travel costs will be covered.
Notifications will be made within 4 weeks after the application deadline.
