Frequently Asked Q’s
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are scholarships offered?
A: Yes! UDaB has substantial need-based scholarship funding from the university that can cover a significant portion of the program fees for those that qualify. All students that apply for a UDaB program are automatically considered for need-based scholarships based on the FASFA.
Q: Are there other ways to decrease the program fee?
A: There sure are! UDaB works to support all participants in fundraising efforts through various events and activities. In 2019, UDaB had a successful crowdfunding campaign on UD’s HenFunder platform.
Q: What are the dates for Spring Break?
A: Saturday, March 25th – Saturday, April 1st, 2023.
Q: What are the dates for Winter Break programs?
A: Winter Break program dates will be announced prior to the beginning of fall semester.
Q: Can I apply to both a Winter and Spring Program?
A: Yes! Please do! You may participate in programs during both breaks.
Q: When will my scholarship be posted on my student account?
A: All scholarships and funds from the letter writing campaign will be posted by Student Financial Services during the week of your program. Unfortunately, exceptions cannot be made.
Q: How do I get more involved in UDaB?
A: There are numerous ways to get more involved with UDaB. After participating in a program, you can apply for UDaB Leadership (applications typically happen in late April). You can apply to participate in more programs in the upcoming fall semester. You also participate in UDaB’s various days of service and active citizenship events.
