Please take caution around the brick façade along the exterior ADA entrance to Townsend Hall. The wall has become dilapidated, and loose bricks have fallen on the sidewalk and ADA ramp. This poses a tripping hazard, and any physical contact with the brick wall should be avoided to ensure additional bricks do not fall and cause injury. This includes using the wall for support, leaning, or sitting.
This matter has been raised with UD Urgent Maintenance, but please reach out to canr-facilities@udel.edu if you notice the issue gets worse. The area will be taped off to prevent accidental injury or additional damage to the wall. Thank you for helping to maintain the safety of our campus!
