This November, the College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment (CEOE) will host two impactful campus lectures on climate change, featuring prominent experts. Donโt miss this chance to learn about sustainable solutions and oceanic changes from leaders in the field. Both events are free, but registration is required.

The annual Mather Lecture on November 14 will discuss sustainable food production in changing climates. On November 21, we will celebrate a transformational gift from Pat and Charles Robertson with a lecture on the โchanging oceans.โ
The Mather Lecture features Dr. Ruth Defries, Denning Family University Professor of Sustainable Development at Columbia University and co-founding Dean Emerita of the Columbia Climate School. It will be in Mitchell Hall on November 14 at 5 p.m., and anyone can register here.
We celebrate the Robertsons with a lecture by Dr. Danielle Haulsee, EOE17, Chief Science Officer at Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, who got her PhD at UD. This event will be in Gore Recital Hall on November 21 at 2 p.m. Anyone can click here to register by November 20; seating is limited.
There is no cost to attend either event, but everyone must register in advance.
