Dr. Erik Ervin in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences and Mike Popovich, Farm Manager, are looking to hire a CANR undergraduate to conduct a hops organic fertilizer trial as an UD Extension Scholar http://extension.udel.edu/blog/student-internship-with-university-of-delaware-ud-cooperative-extension/ and for an additional hourly wage. The Extension Scholar program runs from June 9 to August 14 and comes with a $4000 stipend. The student could also earn additional hourly wages ($12/hr) for hop yard maintenance starting in May and continuing into September.
