We are using our new training platform–KnowBe4–to increase the difficulty of these tests by incorporating some of the same data that phishers use in real life, such as your supervisor and department name or the details of announced university activities.
Awareness is one of our community’s best defenses against phishing attacks. It’s important for you to report the phishing challenge, as well as any concerning email message that you receive, to reportaphish@udel.edu.
Even if you click on a phishing link, always report the message. When it’s a UD challenge, we can practice the correct process, increase our reporting rate, and gain greater understanding of our community’s awareness about phishing. When it’s a real phish, we help reduce or prevent the consequences to you and the UD community by responding to and mitigating the attack.
