Tech Checklist: What you need

Use our Tech Checklist to make sure you’re up-to-speed on the following tech tips and requirements.

☐ Buy/bring a computer (see UD’s recommended computer specs)
Download your secure wireless connection (eduroam) certificate from off-campus
☐ Decide what devices to bring (see how to connect wireless devices to our network: eduroam)

 ☐ Office 365 for Education (FREE)

 ☐ Cables for your devices (ethernet, HDMI, etc.)

    ☐ Headset with mic — USB or Bluetooth noise isolating or active noise cancelling headphones with a boom microphone
    ☐ Webcam — your computer needs a decent processor (CPU) – Intel Core i5 or better, to run your webcam (and Zoom) well. For webcams we recommend USB models with at least 720p resolution

Information Technologies seeks to provide you and your instructors with the tools and resources necessary to support your learning and success while enrolled as a student at UD.

If you have an insufficient device or have hardware issues that impede your ability to complete UD coursework, UDIT may be able to help.

How do I…?

Reset my password? Go to Forgot My Password or Contact the Registrar’s Office (registrar@udel.edu or 302-831-2131)

Update my 2FA settings? Go to My UD Settings.

Update my MFA settings? Go to www.office.com and log in with your UD credentials.

Access or download software for class? Visit the UD software page.

Update my notification settings in Canvas? Visit this Canvas help page.
