Virtual T2C Consulting Help
Want to speak directly with a T2C consultant? You can use Zoom from your office or home to video conference with our help services throughout this transition to Canvas.
First, complete the virtual consultation request form to request a time to schedule your consultation. You may request a consultation Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
After you receive a schedule confirmation, follow the instructions below to join your virtual consultation.
Instructions for using Zoom:
Your computer must be equipped with a good internet connection, and have either a built-in camera/microphone, or a headset/microphone connected through USB. The program will work on both MAC and Windows based computers, and you may use any standard web browser. To set up your computer for Zoom, please follow the instructions below:
- Click on this link (https://zoom.us/j/9385680074) and allow the Zoom plug-in to download to your machine (you only need to download the plugin once, but we will use the same link for all conferences).
- Go to your downloads folder and double click the plug-in to install it on your machine.
- When the Zoom window opens, click the green button to use your computer audio.
- Check to see if the window shows your camera, and the green bars for audio are moving on the bottom left of the window.
The controls to change the settings for your microphone and camera, or to check your speakers, are located in pull-down menus on the bottom left corner of the window behind the arrows.
****Note: If using a mobile device, download the free Zoom App from your app store and type in the meeting ID # to test your audio/video: 938-568-0074 (Zoom doesn’t need the dashes to link into the meeting.)
