Open Positions: Data Collection Interns

The University of Delaware Sustainability Council is looking for a undergraduate and graduate data collection interns/fellows to help the UD submit its next Sustainability Report to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). This Report allows the UD to understand how its own sustainability practices compare to its peer institutions and identify opportunities for improvement.

The Sustainable Council is comprised of faculty members from every academic college at the UD, as well as student representatives, and staff from offices and departments across the UD. Together, they are collaborating with the administration to help make the UD a more sustainable place. 

Open as a volunteer position or for internship credit.


  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the Executive members of the Sustainability Council, among others.
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets to help transfer and collect data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to commit a minimum of five hours per week. 

Applications are currently being accepted on a rolling basis.
