Dear 4-H Families,

Happy Holidays!  December is a month to celebrate the spirit of community and spend extra time with our loved ones.  Please be sure to read all the posts in the newsletter and mark your calendars with all the exciting 4-H activities!  Upcoming events for December and January include Santa Calls, Hippology  Contest, Winter Fun Day, State Indoor Archery Competition and the Public Speaking Contest!

Thank you to the families who attended our annual Card Party for Heroes.  Over 280 cards were made to be delivered to our military!  During December, many clubs participate in holiday parades and community service activities.  Seven of our clubs received grants from the Good Ole Boy Foundation to provide holiday cheer to families in need!  Other clubs are donating to local nursing homes and many others.  Thank you for thinking of those in need and serving our community!

I hope you enjoy this holiday season with your family and friends.  As we look forward to the New Year 2024, set your sights high and try new things.  There are sure to be many wonderful opportunities to explore!
