Fifty-four excited campers arrived at the Georgetown Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, July 30 for a fun filled week of 4-H activities. Day Camp Director, Richard Idler had prepared a full schedule of educational programs, crafts, songs and recreation. Campers enjoyed a Food Safety program presented by Mary Jennings, Nutrition Assistant, EPNEP and a Safety presentation and relays given by Community and Occupational Safety Extension Agent, Mike Love. They were also visited by the Delaware Dairy Princess Alternate, Emily Smith and the Delaware Sheep and Wool Queen, Connor Vincent.
Many thanks to the 16 Junior Council teens who served the week as counselors. Counselors were: Travis Waller, Jackie Arpie, Kimberlyn Scott, Dustin Waller, Bethany Killmon, Holly Anderson, Michael Hopkins, Connor Vincent, Jonah Vincent, Angela Lagano, Amanda Kucharzyk, Colleen Anderson, Hannah Mayhorn, Paige Vincent, Jimmy Kucharzyk, Nathaniel Vincent and Rebecca Arpie.
