Dear 4-H Families,

Fall has finally arrived and brought many 4-H activities!  October 4-H Events include:  National 4-H Week, Window Display Contest, Pumpkin Contest, Talent Show, Animal Science Workshop and STEM Workshop.

“Find Your Spark in 4-H” was the theme for the Achievement Event held on September 26.  Tammy Schirmer, Sussex 4-H Link and former Administrative Assistant was presented with the Joy Sparks Spirit of 4-H Award.  The Sussex 4-H 2022 National 4-H Club Congress delegate is Wesley DeFord.  Sussex 4-H also presented the 4-H Sprit Award to six very deserving individuals:  Sam Gossett, Matthew Johnson, Kyle Kerr, Ruby DiSabatino, Brynn Hovatter and Kathy DiSabatino.  Congratulations to all the award

Leaders – Please forward all emails from the 4-H Office to your club members.  With the 4-H year just starting, we do not have all contact information and do not want any members missing out on opportunities!

Fall is a time of to reflect on the past and look forward to the future!  I encourage all members, leaders, and volunteers to try new things both inside and outside of 4-H.  Participate in new events, make new friends, volunteer and invite a friend to become a 4-H member.  You never know how much you will like something until you try it!
