On January 31, 36 energetic 4-H members participated in our annual Winter Fun Day Event. Participants rotated through five project area stations while learning new things and having lots of fun! At the Arts & Crafts Station, 4-Hers made Olaf the snowman out of socks stuffed with rice. The Foods & Nutrition Station was where the participants learned about My Plate and the importance of choosing healthy foods. The Environmental/Woodworking station was where members made squirrel feeders. At the Community Service Station, members made Valentine’s Day cards that will be donated to a local nursing home. The Health & Fitness Station was active playing Fitness Skillastics. Members also enjoyed a healthy snack during the event.
