The Delaware State Fair 4-H Tractor Driving Contest will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11am.  The Lawn Tractor Driving Contest will be held at a site to be determined on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 9am.  All participants must enter this event by June 1st using the DE State Fair online system.

4-H Tractor Driving Training Session:

• When:  Saturday, July 12, 9 am to 12 noon
• Where:  Taylor & Messick, Walt Messick Road, Harrington, DE
• Eligibility:  Contestants must be 14 years of age to operate tractor

4-H Lawn Tractor Driving Training Session:

• When:  Saturday, July 12, 1 pm to 5 pm
• Where:  Taylor & Messick, Walt Messick Road, Harrington, DE

Participants MUST participate in a training at the state, county or club level in order to participate in the contest.  The July 12th training session will meet that requirement.   Please register for the training session with Mike Love at mlove@udel.edu or 302-856-2585 ext. 583 or 302-519-6685.

4-H Members planning to compete at the State Fair Tractor Driving Contest as BOTH a 4-H Member and FFA Member must participate in the FFA tractor driving training session scheduled for Tuesday, July 8th from 10am to 2pm at Hoobers in Seaford.  4-H Members participating in this FFA training session will meet the 4-H training requirement as well.
