The Hollymount 4-H club meet on October 9, 2025. This was the second meeting for us. The pledges were led by Zoey for the American and Caroline for the 4-H.  All the reports were discussed and approved.  We started our meeting with old business. One of the old business topics was our photo shoot through historical downtown Lewes.  We were privileged to have run into one of the volunteers with the Lewes historical society.  Mr. Terry Mansberger was nice to take us through the Tavern and provide information about some of the buildings.  We also went over Achievement banquet and Animal Science Day.  We cleaned our adopted beach at the Cape Henlopen State Park. The club went over the details of the pumpkin contest also.  For the new business Mrs. West explained the change in the International Foods and plans for the upcoming months activities. Our meeting was concluded with an activity for Meal on Wheels. We made paper pumpkins for food trays. November 6, 2025, is our next meeting.

Lord Baltimore Helping Hands – Addie Sours, Reporter
We did a lot of fun things at this meeting. First, we played an icebreaker called Wagon Wheel where we got to know each other a little bit better since our club continues to grow.  We had 2 new members, Addy and Tylah, join us this month. Anthony, Grace and Ruby shared the awards they had received at the Awards Banquet, and Ms. Kathy gave the Cloverbuds their certificates and pins.  Then Ruby and Ms. Kathy went over all the exciting events and deadlines coming up. Madi then demonstrated her compound bow and arrow and talked about archery. Ms. Jennifer then helped us make an edible aquifer using a straw, Sprite, chocolate chips, ice cream, sprinkles, and food coloring. It was a tasty STEAM activity showing us how contamination sifts through the layers of soil. When we finished with that activity, we began our craft – string art in the form of a 4-leaf clover.  We needed nails, a hammer, and green string.  Before we left, we got a frisbee from Ms. Kathy and the food supplies for our taco meal for the Shepherd’s Office to make at home and return before the 1st Wed of next month.
