Hollymount 4-H Club – Frankie Joella, Reporter
It is hard to believe that our 2024-2025 4-H season has concluded; however, that did not stop us from having a fantastic meeting to end the year! For our June meeting, the Wild Clovers came to show us how to make bug boxes and teach us about the importance of pollinators. Learning about nature is essential knowledge to work toward keeping the planet healthy. Though this meeting was our last one for the season, there will still be plenty of 4-H fun over the summer. The State Fair will be July 17 to July 26, and helpers are needed! Helpers must be 8 years or older. We are all looking forward to a summer of 4-H activities and for our meetings to resume in the fall!
Seaford Blue Jays – Jayda Riefler, Reporter
The Seaford Blue Jays met at the Lickety Splitz ice cream shop in Seaford on June 11. 2025. This was our last gathering for the year until we see one another at camp or the Delaware State Fair. It was a fun time. We all enjoyed ice cream and then made an ice cream cone with duct tape. It was a lot of fun getting together and enjoying a treat. Our club cannot wait to see everyone at the Fair.
