In Memoriam Brooklyn Bailey – Cypress Heart & Hands (Sussex)

Though Brooklyn Bailey is not walking across the stage with her fellow seniors this year, her light continues to shine brightly within the 4-H community and beyond. A cherished member of the Cypress Hearts and Hands chapter, Brooklyn’s enthusiasm, kindness, and dedication left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met.

Before her passing five years ago, Brooklyn actively participated in numerous 4-H events and projects. She loved attending camps, giving back through community service, and exploring a variety of hobbies. Among her favorites were competing in State Fair events and practicing archery—activities that brought her both joy and pride.

Brooklyn’s family remains involved in 4-H, holding close the many memories they shared with her through this meaningful organization. As the Class of 2025 graduates and steps into new adventures, may Brooklyn’s spirit inspire every member to live fully, serve generously, and lead with heart.

In Loving Memory Of Brooklyn Bailey

– Cypress Heart & Hands Club Secretary

– Favorite Foods Contest Participant

– “Thunderbirds” RULE!

Brooklyn was a very active member of the Cypress Heart and Hands 4-H club.  If there was an event scheduled, you could almost count on Brooklyn attending.  Many of the 4-H events that she enjoyed were State Camp, Younger Member Weekend, International Foods and Talent Show, Christmas parades, Club nursing home visits, numerous community service events, and much more.  She made many friends while attending these events and touched many hearts.  She most certainly left her mark on her club as not a meeting or event passes without her memory present.
