Dear 4-H Families,
February is full of important events: Black History Month, American Heart Month, Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day and President’s Day. It is important to remember and honor those who have had an impact on our Nation and to show our love and appreciation for others.
Speaking of showing appreciation for others, Congratulations to Dr. Ernesto “Ernie” Lopez on his new role as Delaware 4-H State Program Leader. Ernie has been a familiar face in our program for over 20 years as the Volunteer Specialist. He brings a wealth of knowledge and is eager to jump into his new role to continue to “Make the Best Better!”
Please continue to read through this entire newsletter and our Friday Updates for upcoming event dates and deadlines. We have a variety of activities happening over the next few months and want everyone to have the chance to participate!
A Friendly Reminder – Please be sure to submit your club news to Kaleb or myself by the 25th of each month. Include a fun activity, projects completed, and photos of your club in actions. We love to see and share what each club is doing!
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Yours in 4-H,
Jill Jackson
