The Delaware State Grange has always been very supportive of the Delaware 4-H program. The Grange is in need of 4-H members and adult volunteers to help them in their food booth during the 2024 Delaware State Fair.  The Grange will provide community service verified hours for the students and will also provide a monetary stipend to the local 4-H club based on hours that their members work.  Members and volunteers will be asked to provide their respective 4-H club name when they register to work.

The Delaware State Grange Fair Booth is open daily during the fair from 7am until 9 pm, but generally students only work between 2 to 4 hours between the hours of 10am and 3pm.  A food voucher is also provided to any volunteer for the Grange booth that can be redeemed the day they volunteer or at another time during the fair.

Delaware 4-H encourages our 4-H members, parents and volunteers to register to assist at the Grange Booth.  The Grange would appreciate hearing from potential volunteers in order to determine the best times that your help is needed and can be beneficial to them.  Please contact Debbie Edwards, State Secretary of the Delaware State Grange at (302) 535-3032 to register to volunteer.  Let’s help those who have helped our program in so many ways over the years.  Thank you!
