County Record Books – Due the end of August
Sussex County Record Books are due at the end of August. Contact your club leader for specific date due to them. Members may use record book online recording system or the fillable templates. Information on both of these methods can be found on the DE 4-H Website under the Project Information tab.
Becoming a 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor
4-H Volunteers – If you are interested in becoming a Level 1 shooting Sports Instructor in Rifle (tentative date Aug 23-24), Shotgun or Archery (date TBD) please reach out to Kristin with your interest. This training includes approximately 9 classroom hours and 3-4 hours to be completed on your own. With this training, instructors will be considered qualified to work with youth in their 4-H clubs.
There is no fee to become certified. All volunteers must be current with their 4-H volunteer enrollment. If a person is not a current 4-H leader, but would like to become a shooting sports volunteer, successful completion of volunteer enrollment will be required prior to instructor training.
