Dear 4-H Families,
February is full of important events: Black History Month, American Heart Month, Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day and President’s Day. It is important to remember and honor those who have had an impact on our Nation and to show our love and appreciation for others.
Speaking of showing love and appreciation for others, Congratulations to Mr. Doug Crouse, State 4-H Program Leader, on his retirement! Doug has been involved in Delaware 4-H for over 50 years, 23 of those working with Cooperative Extension. Mr. Crouse has been a wonderful leader and example to so many 4-H members, volunteers and his staff. We appreciate all that he has done for Delaware 4-H and wish him a very happy retirement!
4-H February events include: State Teen Conference, Favorite Foods Contest, Foods Judging Contest and the Photography and Graphic Arts Contests. Special Meetings taking place at the REC will be Wild Clovers Outdoor Club!
A Friendly Reminder – Please be sure to submit your club news to Kaleb or myself by the 25th of each month. Include a fun activity, projects completed, and photos of your club in actions. We love to see and share what each club is doing!
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Yours in 4-H,
Jill Jackson
