Agent Letter: September 2021

Dear 4-H Families,

Welcome to a new 4-H Year!  With the new 4-H year starting, there are lots of exciting activities and events to look forward to.  Coming up in September our regular monthly meetings begin again.  We also have the Coastal Cleanup and County Achievement Event.

Please help me welcome our new 4-H Administrative Assistant, Kaleb Scott!  Kaleb is not a stranger to our program and we are so excited to have him back in Sussex County!  Kaleb can be reached at 856-2585 Ext. 544 or kjscott@udel.edu with any general 4-H questions you may have.

Delaware 4-H continues to keep the safety of our members first. We are looking forward to another great 4-H year as we are keeping our fingers crossed for in-person events all year!!

Thank you to the clubs who submit club reports each month, please keep them coming!  Be sure to submit your club news to Kaleb or myself by the 25th of each month.  Include a fun activity, projects completed, and photos of your club in actions.  We love to see and share what each club is doing!

During this busy time and throughout the year, please remember to check your email and the online newsletter regularly for news and updates.  Be sure to sign up for events (county and statewide) by the posted deadlines.  Thanks for your help!

Please feel free to email or call me if you have any new ideas, suggestions, or concerns about Sussex 4-H programming.  I am always here for my 4-H families and I love hearing new ideas for our members and clubs!

Yours in 4-H,
Jill Jackson
