3 in 1 Sewing Workshop
Seven youth took part in a virtual sewing workshop – recycling 2 pairs of old blue jeans into 3 entries for the State Fair. They learned how to de-construct the jeans so as to make an apron, a patchwork pillow, and a bracelet, with enough “scraps” left to make other things as well. A huge shout out to the parents and grandparents who worked at home with the youth as Miss Kathy directed via zoom and power point slides, how to make the items. The youth did a great job as can be seen by their completed items.
