Twenty-two eager 4-H members competed in the 2021 Sussex County 4-H Public Speaking Contest on Saturday, January 23 at the Bridgeville Fire Hall.  Speech topics included healthy living, vacation and personal experiences, 4-H projects, sports, leadership, and role models.  It was a fun and informative afternoon!

Top Award Winners included:

Beginner I (8-9 year old) Division: Wyatt Vincent, Sunset Branch

Beginner II  (10-11 year old): Addison Freebery, Hollymount

Junior Division (12-13 year old):  Sam Gossett, Hollymount

Senior Division (14-19 year old):  Olivia Goehringer, Harbor Lights

Other ribbon winners were:

Beginner 1 (ages 8-9) – Liam Probert, Daniel Wisniewski and Addison Nikodemski

Beginner 2 (ages 10-11) – Claire Denham, Lillie Bradley, Juliette Anger, Joel Denham and Andrew Wisniewski

Junior (ages 12-13) – Sedona Ashman, Kieran Probert and Quinton Ashman

Senior (ages 14-19) – Carter Bradley, Destiny Carmona, Diamond Carmona, Dakota Carmona, Zoe Probert and Cole Carter
