  • Delaware 4-H Foundation Scholarship Due May 1, 2020
    The Delaware 4-H Foundation has funds available to support scholarships offered to Delaware
    4-H members in pursuit of higher education. This award is to recognize continued 4-H leadership.

Updated list of Postponed/Cancelled events due to the Health Crisis
ALL club, county and statewide events have now been postponed until May 15.  Your club leaders are working on alternative ways for you to meet for your monthly meetings.  Below are a few updates and resources that you may find helpful.  This date now affects the following:

  • Club meetings and events from now until May 15.
  • Demonstration Contest (originally scheduled for March 18 & 19)
  • Photography & Wood Science Judging (originally scheduled for March 18)
  • Clothing Showcase (originally scheduled for April 18).  Plans are being made to have this at the State Fair.  More details will be sent as we receive more information!
  • Horse Judging (originally scheduled for April 25)
  • May 3 county archery at the REC.  Possibility of now holding this on May 17.  The County Archery Contest is still planned to take place on May 30 at the REC.
  • May 4 Monthly Meetings at Carvel (Exchange, Links, Leaders and Jr. Council will be by ZOOM).
  • Per the State 4-H Office, the State Indoor Archery Championship previously scheduled for March 21 has been cancelled for this year.  We will be in touch to return your registration fees and if you ordered a t-shirt, you will still receive it.
  • Farm Tours scheduled for May 5-7 at Evans Farms have been cancelled.  Thank you to all those who were planning to volunteer at this event!
  • Jr. Leader Weekend and Younger Member Weekend are cancelled at Cape Henlopen.  We are brainstorming ways to still offer these camps, even if they need to be a one-day camp.  This will all depend on the current health situation and how long it lasts.
  • The Youth Leadership Camp has been postponed until October 2020 at Cape Henlopen.
