Boxing Party and Card Party for Heroes

What a night of community service for Sussex 4-H!  Christmas boxes, Cards, Carols and Cookies, the 4 C’s of this year’s annual Holiday Card Party for Heroes with the addition of a boxing party for Operation Christmas Child!

During the Operation Christmas Child Boxing Party, over 45 boxes were stuffed with gifts of donations from Delaware 4-H members for children 2-14 years old.  These boxes will be included in the thousands of boxes to be shipped around the world to those in need!

The Card Party for Heroes is an event that members look forward to each year! Over ninety creative artists designed and made over 450 cards to send to the United States Military this holiday season.  A record turn out and a record number of cards made! Everyone had a great time sharing in laughter and fellowship.  Special thanks to Colleen Anderson, Sharon Anderson and Holly Anderson who spearheaded the project.
