Hello 4-H Families,

November brings beautiful fall colors and cooler weather. Daylight savings time ends on November 4, so be sure to turn your clocks back! This month also brings Election Day, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving.

Sussex 4-H was very busy in October with the following events:

• Window Displays – 8 Clubs participated in this annual contest. Check out the winners and photos in this newsletter!
• Archery Shoots
• Paper Clover Fundraiser – 4-H members, friends, and families were encouraged to participate
• Pumpkin Contest/Haunted Trail – 131 4-H’ers decorated pumpkins and over 150 attended the event
• Fall Retreat – 35 campers and 11 counselors enjoyed games, smores, crafts and more!

November 4-H events include the Shell We Bounce Fundraiser for Jr. Council, STEAM Club and Archery Shoot.  The Holiday Card Party for Heroes will take place on Friday, November 22 at 6:30 pm, International Foods and the Talent Show will take place on Saturday, November 23 at 6:00 pm.  Delaware 4-H will send a delegation of teens to Atlanta, GA to participate in National Club Congress from November 29-December 3. The Sussex delegates are Jenna Anger, Destiny Carmona and Madison Johnson.
