JOIN US TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL 4-H WEEK!
The anticipation is building for National 4-H Week, when the 4-H community of over 6 million young people, 500,000 volunteers and 3,500 4-H professionals will celebrate America’s largest youth organization by showcasing the incredible work that they do each and every day to make a positive impact on those around them.
The theme of this year’s National 4-H Week, which takes place from October 6 – 12, is Inspire Kids to Do!
In addition to nationwide events such as National Youth Science Day, Delaware 4-H has some special activities planned, including club Window Displays, Wear Green Day, NYSD Game Changers Events in each county and having Governor Carney sign a proclamation celebrating National 4-H Week.
On October 8, we want to see our awesome Delaware 4-H families Wear Green to support 4-H! Wear green to school, work or community events! We realize that some schools have dress codes or uniforms, so be creative! Wear a green bow, necklace, socks or shoelaces! Be sure to show us your green by tagging Delaware 4-H on Facebook and Instagram
(pleas make your posts public!)
We can’t wait to see how Delaware 4-H celebrates National 4-H Week!
