On January 12, 48 energetic 4-H members participated in our annual Winter Fun Day Event. Participants rotated through five project area stations while learning new things and having lots of fun! At the Arts & Crafts Station, 4-Hers made Snowman Wreaths. The Foods & Nutrition Station was where the participants learned about MyPlate and the importance of choosing healthy foods and made two healthy smoothie recipes. Members were able to make a second craft project by painting and decorating a photo frame with the 4-H pledge inside. At the Community Service Station, members made heart cards that will be given to local nursing homes. The Health & Fitness Station was active playing a variety of games with hula hoops and music.
