Paper Clover Campaign with Tractor Supply
The annual fall fundraiser will take place October 3-14, 2018.  Please encourage family and friends to go to Tractor Supply and support 4-H.  Proceeds from this fundraiser helps defer costs of many state and county events.

Contribute during our 2018 fundraisers by:

1) Donating in store at the register. Click here for the store locator.
2) Donating online at checkout when making a purchase on tractorsupply.com. (Donations will be assigned to states based on the shipping location).
3) Donating by phone when you call TSC Customer Solutions at 877-718-6750

Encourage your clubs and volunteers to participate at their local Tractor Supply Co. store during Paper Clover. Not only will this help donations and improve their relationship with their local store, they will also have the opportunity to enter the Paper Clover Participation Sweepstakes, where 75 clubs will win a $100 TSC gift card. Participation can be anything from setting up a display table and project boards inside the store to having clubs encourage customers to donate.

Horse Bowl Interest for the 2019 Contest
Who is interested in participating in Horse Bowl this year? Horse Bowl is a trivia based competition for youth ages 8-19. The youth are divided into age categories and then placed on teams. The teams are divided by ages (8-10yr), (11-13yr), and (14-19yr). It usually takes place on the Second Saturday of March in Kent County. Most teams will start practicing in November and then practice weekly starting in January.

If you would like to be on a team this year, please send your name, age, email address, and phone number to Jodie Gravenor. We would like to get all information of interested youth and then set up a date for getting our teams together. If you would like any other information, please do not hesitate to ask. Diamond Clover Award – 2018-2019 Intent Forms DUE November 21, 2018
Delaware 4-H members are eligible to participate in the Diamond Clover Award program. Delaware 4-H adopted the Diamond Clover Award in 2011 from a program used in Maryland and Nebraska. This award will be the highest level of recognition that a Delaware 4-H member can achieve. It is similar to the Boy Scout Eagle Award or the Girl Scout Gold Award. The Diamond Clover Award consists of six levels, each steadily advancing in intensity and achievement over the last. It is intended to take a 4-H member six years to complete. The nice thing about this award is that many 4-H members are already doing the work, so all you need to do is fill out the forms and submit them. For other 4-H members, this award can provide you with a long-term challenge for your 4-H career. Either way, when you have finished the process you have completed an amazing journey that will benefit you forever. To find out more, visit the Diamond Clover site on the State 4-H webpage at: http://extension.udel.edu/4h/about-delaware-4-h/feature-awards/diamond-clover/
