Dear Sussex 4-H Family,
Happy Holidays! December is a month to celebrate the spirit of community and spend extra time with our loved ones. Many clubs will take part in local parades, collect food for the needy, adopt a family, or go caroling in nursing homes or local communities. Please be sure to read all the posts in the online newsletter and be sure to mark your calendars with all of the exciting 4-H activities!
Holiday Card Party for Heroes was Friday, November 4th with over 30 participants making 310 cards. See inside the newsletter for additional information.
On November 19, over 200 4-H members and families attended the 4 Little Clovers Dinner Theatre at North Georgetown Elementary. Members prepared delicious dishes from around the world and shared their many talents. Be sure to read the full overview in this newsletter!
Rebecca Arpie traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to participate in the National Club Congress with other teen delegates from across the state along with the State 4-H leader, Doug Crouse and volunteer leader, Elaine Webb from Kent County.

- State Teen Conference-Saturday, January 28th-Sunday, January 29
Please make sure all members are re-enrolled in 4-H Online by January 1st or they will become archived in the system! Members must be enrolled in 4-H to participate in 4-H activities.
We are excited to share that the “Jackson 5” is complete. Jill and Aaron welcomed Owen William Jackson to the family on November 16th. Logan and Emorie were excited to welcome their baby brother.
We hope you enjoy this holiday season with your loved ones. As we look forward to the New Year 2017, set your sights high and try new things. There are many wonderful opportunities to explore!
