Clubs entering the Window Display Contest should have displays in place by Tuesday, October 4 at 9:00am. They are to remain at their location for the entire National 4-H Week. Displays will be judged during that week. The top three winning displays will represent Sussex County at the 2017 Delaware State Fair. An entry form is included below for the Window Display Contest. Entries may be mailed, faxed, or emailed.
Make sure your displays have an impact from a distance and are easily read. Don’t forget to have plenty of 4-H literature on-hand for visitors to pick-up as they admire your display.
This year, National 4-H decided not to have a theme for National 4-H Week. So, whether it be Science, Citizenship, or Healthy Living – the idea for your display is entirely up to YOU!
Place the display in an area where many people can enjoy it. Store windows, libraries, schools, and banks are all good locations! Displays are not to exceed 7 ft. x 36 in. wide.
Our judges always look forward to seeing the blend of imagination, invention, and creativity in our window displays! We hope to see every club represented!
