Close to 100 4-H leaders and youth from around the state attended the 2016 Delaware 4-H State Leader Forum held at Delaware Technical and Community College in Georgetown on February 6th.  Special thanks to all of our presenters and youth who helped make this special day of training and fellowship so special!

In addition to training and workshops held throughout the day, the 4-H Salute to Excellence Awards are presented annually at the Leader Forum and this year the honors were given to the following volunteers:
New Castle County:
Outstanding Volunteer of the Year:  Christopher Melson
Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award:  Brenda Shaffer

Kent County:
Outstanding Volunteer of the Year:  Jennifer Menard
Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award:  Kay Kemp

Sussex County:
Outstanding Volunteer of the Year:  Meredith Tipton
Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award:  Melissa Mitchell
