On January 16, 38 energetic 4-H members participated in our annual Winter Fun Day Event. Participants rotated through five project area stations while learning new things and having lots of fun! At the Arts & Crafts Station, 4-Hers made a Penguin out of water bottles stuffed with cotton balls. The Foods & Nutrition Station was where the participants learned about MyPlate and the importance of choosing healthy foods. The Environmental/Woodworking station was where members made a birdhouse. At the Community Service Station, members made a cat scratch and entertainment toy to donate to the Sussex County SPCA. The Health & Fitness Station was active playing Fitness Skillastics. Members also enjoyed a healthy snack during the event.
