The 2016 Delaware 4-H State Teen Conference was held the weekend of January 30th on the campus of the University of Delaware in Newark.
4-H teens from all over Delaware, along with a large contingent from Sussex County, participated in workshops on drug prevention, bullying and leadership. 4-H teens attended a basketball game at the Bob Carpenter Center and enjoyed a pizza party, dance and activities at the newly renovated student recreation center where they took advantage of the swimming pool, volleyball courts and rock wall! In addition,
4-H’ers arrived at the conference with donated items that were placed into care packages and given to local families in need! Special thanks to the generous support of Delaware Electric Cooperative for being a lead sponsor of the 2016 Delaware 4-H State Teen Conference!
