Sussex County 4-H’ers Compete in State 4-H Horse Bowl
The State 4-H Horse Bowl was held on Saturday, March 7, 2015.  There were 31 teams participating with 118 youth attending. Competing from Sussex County were 7 teams.  The Bridgeville Mustangs had a beginner team named the Magic Mustangs.  Members were:  Paige Taylor, Alexia Carroll and Cheyenne Bowman.  Their intermediate team were the Equinators with Jenna Anger, Tanner LeCates and C.J. Carroll.

The East Coast 4-H Riding club and Annett Farms combined to form two beginner teams.  The Mini Stars were Logan Layfield, Ruby Phillips and Emily Phillips.  The Fearsome Fillies were Tori Smith, Anna Lopez, Kyli Baridon and Alex Herber.  Annett Farms sponsored an intermediate team with members Kassidy Brown and Olivia Montgomery.

The East Coast intermediate team was Layne Smith and Autumn Lenhart.  East Coast senior team members were Garrett Smith, Rebecca Arpie, Whitney Records and Mikayla Ockels.

We would like to thank the team members, team coaches and parents for attending many nights of practice and for helping make the team shirts.  Coaches were:  Heather Taylor, Melissa Layton, Jodie Gravenor, Heather Smith, Heather Records, Cindy Ockels, Elrita Annett and Jackie Arpie.
