4 Little Clovers Dinner Theater Recap

IntFoods2014 2Over two hundred Sussex 4-H members and family celebrated International Foods at the North Georgetown Elementary School on Nov. 15, 2014. Australia, Canada, China, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, El Salvador, England, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United States, and Wales were the countries represented.  Junior Council President, Kimberlyn Scott served as moderator. Seventy-five 4-H members prepared an international recipe which was displayed and sampled at the event. Many other dishes were prepared by 4-H families participating in the Talent Show.  Following the dinner, club talent provided the theater entertainment. This event is a favorite family fall activity! Int Foods 2014 4Delaware 4-H Hall of Fame:  Since Mrs. Carlene Jones was unable to attend the Hall of Fame event, she was presented with her award and medallion before the Talent portion of the evening.  Mrs. Jones has been a 4-H leader over 50 years and was very humbled by this award.

IntFoods2014 3Sussex 4-H Exchange Trip:  The group provided a Silent Auction fundraiser with items such as 4-H memorabilia, handmade scarves, homemade food items, holiday décor and much more!  Thank you to all those who bid on the items and donated money for this wonderful 4-H experience.
