County Record Books
The newly revised 4-H Record Book guidelines and fillable pdf forms for are now available on the State 4-H Page.  These new guidelines are being implemented statewide.  Please contact the 4-H Office with any questions you have.  Record Books are due in August.

During the month of April, 19 semi-finalists in the children’s category were busily creating masterpieces on their rain barrels to help get the word out about water conservation! See all the finished products and help vote to select 5 finalists whose barrels will be displayed at the Delaware State Fair. Visitors to the Fair will help select the grand prize winner with their votes!

Dairy Judging Training
The next Dairy Judging Training, led by Holly Anderson,  will be on Saturday, June 7, at 10:00 am at Hopkins Dairy Farm.   The address to the farm is:  18186 Dairy Farm Rd., Lewes, DE 19958.
Please wear boots or old sneakers and bring a clipboard with paper and a pen or pencil.

Annual Links & Jr. Council Summer Picnic – August 10, 2014
The summer meeting is the Family Picnic. August 10th at 1:00 pm in the Grove beside the Carvel Center. Anyone who wishes to help please contact Links President, Amy Webb at amywwebb@aol.com.

Please bring a covered dish and your own plates and utensils. Iced Tea and Lemonade will be provided along with Hot Dogs and Hamburgers.

Robotics Club
The Robotics Club will resume meeting in September. Watch for Fall dates!

Emma Rider – LEAD360 Top 5 in Nation
Emma
Congratulations to Emma Rider, Dublin Hill Club, who made it to the top 5 for the Jefferson Award’s Lead360 Challenge.  Thank you to all who voted online for her Shoe Project and her goal to end world thirst!  Emma will be traveling to Washington D.C. in June for the formal announcement of the top five award winners.

 

If your club, school, family, church etc. is interested in learning more about Emma’s Shoe Project and WaterStep, please email Emma at emma.rider@WaterStep.org.  She would love to partner with you to help get clean water around the world!

Summer Meetings
