On January 11, Thirty five energetic 4-H members participated in the annual Winter Fun Day Event. Participants rotated through five project area stations while learning new things and having lots of fun! At the Arts & Crafts Station, 4-Hers made beaded snowflake bracelets. The Foods & Nutrition Station was where the participants learned about My Plate and the importance of choosing healthy foods. The Environmental Station was loud and proud as the 4-Hers made Bluebird Houses. At the Community Service Station, members made an owl candy holders that were donated to a local nursing home. The Health & Fitness Station was active playing Fitness Skillastics. Members also enjoyed a healthy snack during the event. As the 4-H members were busy learning new skills, many parents visited the Favorite Foods Training and learned about recipes, menus, table settings, how to complete entry forms, and the Foods & Nutrition Judging Contest.
