The 2013 Delaware 4-H State Teen Conference was held February 9-10 on the campus of the  University of Delaware in Newark.  Over 80 4-H teens from all over the state attended a weekend filled with programs ranging from a meeting and discussion with employees of the Food Bank of Delaware, to a fun filled night at the UD Men’s Ice Hockey team at the Fred Rust Ice arena.  4-H teens also got together in groups to come up with an idea and ingredients for a new 4-H ice cream flavor to be unveiled at Ag Day later this spring.  Twenty seven Sussex County 4-H teens attended the conference.
