Men Active in Societal and Cultural Change (MASCC)

Open to all genders, MASCC is dedicated to engaging men at the University of Delaware in the examination of healthy masculinity, and how they can play an active role in reducing gender-based violence on campus.

What Do We Do

  • Educate the community on how social norms about gender roles–and what it means to be a man–can foster violent behavior.  Engage men at the University in creating a healthy and respectful campus that is free from sexual and dating violence.  Empower men on campus to challenge the norms around gender identity, specifically masculinity, and create positive change in their world.
  • Members of MASCC are also trained facilitators of the dating violence prevention program, One Love’s Escalation Workshop. Check out Team One Love @ Udel, or email for more information.
