Social Justice Peer Educators

The Social Justice Peer Educators (SJPEs) program is a peer-to-peer social justice program and is a paid leadership opportunity for students. The opportunity includes the training of student leaders who are passionate about social justice to facilitate peer-led workshops on identity, social justice, and creating inclusive and just environments on campus. Applications are accepted during the spring semester for the upcoming academic year.

One of the most important things I have learned through this program is how to be an accomplice and strive for social justice in every aspect of life. I have learned that to just discuss these uncomfortable topics is not enough, but to actually enact change, changes must be made frequently no matter how small.
