Travel Vaccines

By prescription only. You can receive a prescription from a travel consultation with an SHS provider or bring a prescription from a non-SHS medical provider.

COVID Vaccines

The COVID-19 bivalent booster (Pfizer) is available at Student Health Services by calling 302-831-2226, Option 1. Free COVID-19 primary vaccines and boosters are available at on-campus clinics, as well as local pharmacies.

Tuberculosis Testing

Mantoux (PPD) skin test or Quantiferon blood test.

Titers for Clinical or Compliance Requirements

  • Hepatitis B
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella

Allergy Injections

Requires orders from Allergist’s office.

  • All allergy injections are given by appointment only.
  • Please call 302-831-2226, Option 1 to schedule an appointment.
  • You must have received at least one allergy injection prior to receiving injections at UD.
  • Review the Allergy Injection Policy and Procedures.
  • Please have your allergist fax the orders to us at 302-831-6407
  • Serum may be mailed to Student Health or dropped off in person.
  • Please have any medication delivered Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–noon, and 1–4 p.m.

Special Injections (Xolair, Dupixent, Methotrexate, etc)

  • Medication Injections prescribed by a non-UD physician/nurse practitioner may be administered at Student Health.
  • Please have your medical provider complete this form prior to your first appointment: Request for Injectable Medication Administration.
  • Students may have their medication shipped directly to the Immunization Department for storage (whether you receive your injections at SHS or choose to self-inject at home).
  • Please have any medication delivered Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–noon, and 1–4 p.m.

UD does not offer infusion services on campus. Please connect with a local infusion center to arrange for off-campus infusions.
