If you received a letter from Student Health Services regarding required testing, there are only two reasons you may be exempted:
- You have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days. To be excused, please submit your positive test result to Student Health Services by logging into the Secure Student Health Portal. Once you click on the link and login, click on the “Medical Clearances” link in the left menu. You then will need to click on the “Update” button next to “COVID 19”. There you can upload an image of your result report. Also, please include the result date with your submitted report. Fields for vaccination dates can be left blank.
- You are no longer taking in-person classes at the University of Delaware. If you are no longer participating in courses listed in UDSIS as “in-person”, please submit documentation from your professor or other University official verifying this academic change via this online form. Alternately, you may cut and paste the following URL into your browser: bit.ly/covid-exempt.
If you are a student living in the residence halls, please contact Residence Life and Housing (firstname.lastname@example.org or 302-831-4663) regarding the required testing for residential students.
