The 7th Annual University of Delaware Graduate Student Forum was held on April 13, 2017. In general, the Graduate Student Forum represents an opportunity for graduate students, faculty, and others to come together through the shared experience of research. The Forum spanned the day at the Clayton Hall Conference Center, located on the University of Delaware’s campus, and featured posters and paper sessions from graduate student presenters. Papers sessions ranged from preliminary project ideas to fully-fleshed dissertation chapters, adding to the camaraderie found within all stages of the research process. Furthermore, the Forum stands as one of the sole interdisciplinary venues for graduate students to share their work. This year, the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice featured strong representation. Aneesa Baboolal, Ginger Berndt, Luye Li, Kai Lin, Lin Liu, Em Rowe, Bri VanArsdale, Jascha Wagner, and Tanya Whittle all showcased their work via presentation or poster at this year’s event.
