Research

The focus of my current research is in the application of mathematics in medicine.  I am a member of the Center for the Application of Mathematics in Medicine (CAMM).  My research involves mathematical modeling, ordinary and partial differential equations, stochastic differential equations, discrete mathematics, asymptotic and perturbation methods, and scientific computing.

My main project is a collaboration with Dr. Bruce M. Boman, a member of CAMM, Director of Cancer Genetics & Stem Cell Biology, Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute, Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, and Scientist of the Center for Translational Cancer Research, University of Delaware.

In the past, I did work on compressible and incompressible fluid dynamics, transonic aerodynamics, viscoelasticity, and financial math.
