Selfless for Africa (S4A) is a nonprofit organization that aids Africa’s underprivileged youths. Specifically, the organization raises money to fund the entire high school education for impoverished students in African countries. In most parts of Africa, K-12 education is not free, as it is here in the US. S4A also assists orphanages in Africa by funding some of the upkeep of their facilities and the education, health, and safety of the orphans. Finally, we fund project ideas and even help our award recipients implement their winning project ideas in Africa. This program, called the Selfless Pioneers Grant, is offered each year. This year, the winner is awarded $1,000 toward the project!
If you have ever wanted to make your mark in the world or had a great idea that you believe could benefit the less fortunate in Africa, then this grant could be your chance to do so! So over the next couple of weeks, as you reflect on the many blessings that the US lifestyle has afforded you, please consider how you can pay your blessings forward through a simple but selfless project idea. Submit your selfless project ideas to S4A, and you could be the next winner of the $1,000 to help turn your dream into a reality.
