Level of Cultural Engagement Demonstrates commitment to act, live, and create ethically in an attempt to enhance global society or environment. Considers the ethical dimensions of own acts and decisions that could either enhance or diminish global society or environment . Identifies ethical dimensions of particular acts and decisions that either have changed or could change global society or environment. Describes events which have changed or could change global society or environment with little or no mention of ethical dimensions.
Clarity and Organization

The assignment has a clear and effective organizational structure, creating a sense of unity and completeness. The response is fully sustained, and consistently and purposefully focused.

 

The assignment has an evident organizational structure and a sense of completeness, though there may be minor flaws and some ideas may be loosely connected. The response is adequately sustained and generally focused.

 

The assignment has an inconsistent organizational structure, and flaws are evident. The response is somewhat sustained and may have a minor drift in focus.

 

The assignment has little or no discernible organizational structure. The response may be related to the topic but may provide little or no focus.
