Rebecca Hunting Pompon, Ph.D. is a faculty member with the University of Delaware’s Communication Sciences and Disorders program and is the Principal Investigator of the Aphasia & Rehabilitation Outcomes Lab. Before earning her Ph.D. in Speech & Hearing Sciences at the University of Washington, she worked clinically in adult mental health and holds an M.A. in Counseling.


Her current research focuses on aphasia and how psychological and cognitive factors impact rehabilitation, and how they may be measured in people with communication limitations.
